  6. AllMusic Review by Scott Yanow Philly Joe Jones was a member of the Bill Evans Trio for a short time in but none of his recordings with the pianist were released at the time. This two-LP set from features the pair (along with bassist Eddie Gomez who had recently started his own longtime association with Evans) in superb form.
  7. Feb 17,  · It's the only solo album ever released by Bobby Cole (there is an other LP as Bobby Cole Trio). Some years ago it was reissued in Japan on vinyl and CD (bonus tracks) recorded a lot of years later. I payed for $67 on Discogs to have a new vinyl copy featuring the original tracklist. Today it is out of print on LP. To me it is marvelous.
