1. Tribute as it is, Katorz is a poor album. The album is void of any progressive tendencies, and any hope at hearing any new or innovative music should be put out before listening, because in the way of simplicity on this album, this is basically like Voivod-does-AC/DC. 2. The album features that last thirteen songs written by Piggy and again features bassist Jason ‘Jasonic’ Newsted (ex-Metallica). Jason plays bass on all songs and also mixed the album. Infini will be released as a deluxe, digipack CD and will also be issued on vinyl as a double LP.

3. First Voivod album to feature Denis D'Amour (aka Piggy)'s never released material before his death. Not only did he play guitar on all tracks, but the rest of the band also played around his parts. Notice that the word "quatorze" (spelled as "katorz") means "fourteen" in French. This album is fourteenth in discography (including compilations).
